vaisser French Grandmaster (1975) born in Kazakhstan and naturalized French in 1996. Graduated in computer sciences and mathematics. Coach and journalist.
World Senior Champion in 2010, French Champion in 1997, Soviet Junior Champion in 1965. European Union blitz championship vice champion in 1997.

Won or shared first in Russian (republic) championship 1982, Sochi 1983, Havana 1985, Pula 1988, Capelle la Grande 1987, Pula and West Berlin 1988, Capelle la Grande 1991, Helsinki 1991, Oviedo 1993. Also second in the French championships in 1996 and 2001.

A participant in the Olympiads in 1998 and 2002. A member of the Club of Lyon which won twice the European Club Team Championship in 1993 and 1994.

Vaisser has coached Lev Psakhis (1980-82), Joel Lautier and the French national team in 1994.

Author of Beating the King’s Indian and Benoni (1997).
Best ELO: 2595 in 1998, he was then the third best ranked French player.
