ohra A Dutch insurance company which sponsored chess tournaments in Amsterdam from 1982 until 1990 and in Brussels from 1985 until 1987.

The major event was the category 16 at Brussels in 1986 with Garry Kasparov, the strongest (category) chess event ever held until that time.
In Amsterdam (from 1984), a huge festival with two major events was annually organised.
The company also sponsored several European Junior Championships at Arhnem in the late 1980s.

Ljubojevic, II Alonso Zapata, 1986 (B) Garry Kasparov, 1987 I John Van der Wiel, II Vlastimil Hort, 1987 (B) Match Men-Ladies 16-16, 1988 I Viktor Korchnoi and Boris Gulko, 1989 I Alexander Beliavsky, II Zurab Azmaiparashvili and Lev Psakhis, 1990 I Alexander Beliavsky, II Vladimir Tukmakov and Judith Polgar.
