The most popular tournament of Finland is organized since 1991 by the Jyväs-Shakki Chess Club in Jyväskylä. The Tournament is a 10 round Swiss Open. It is also the Open Finnish Championship.
The winners were: 1991 Evgeny Dragomaretsky, 1992 Gennadi Kuzmin, 1993 Aleksander Shneider, 1994 Rainer Knaak, 1995 Viktor Kuporosov, 1996 Igors Rausis, 1997 Jaan Ehlvest, 1998 Evgeniy Solozhenkin, 1999 Viktor Gavrikov, 2001 Mihail Rytshagov, 2002 Maxim Novik, 2003 Tomi Nybäck, 2004 Tarmo Seeman, 2005 Rytshagov, 2006 Mikael Agopov, 2007 Normunds Miezis, 2008, Kaido Kuelaots, 2009 Vitaly Kunin, 2010 Maxime Turov, 2011 Yrjö Rantanen.
